70 to 90% organic
No
We have an organic attitude of sorts, but we do not go out of our way to be organic or alternative, rather, we do what suits us at the time
We usually buy groceries and daily necessities at nearby shops and supermarkets, but we value living in connection with people—using what we grow ourselves, vegetables cultivated by local farmers, meat we prepare ourselves (such as chicken, deer, and wild boar), and locally made products.

When it comes to home renovation and making things, we also try to enrich our lives by reusing local resources and items that are no longer in use.
We live together as four households.
Three of us are vegan, so they do not eat any animal products.
As a result, our meals include both vegan dishes and non-vegan dishes.
  • We usually eat vegetables and rice but we have meat and fish if we are given it
  • We cook various international meals
  • We sometimes cook Asian types of food
  • We always cook homemade meals
  • We never eat pre-made foods from supermarkets and department stores
  • We never buy obento (lunch boxes) at convenience stores and supermarkets
When we have a party or an event, we might drink with WWOOFers but these occasions are not so often

We are a family that goes beyond blood relations. We call ourselves “Tanin Kazoku” (a family of non-relatives), and we share our life mainly on Instagram while living together.

Rather than centering our lives around the economy, we are trying to create a way of living that puts children at the center. That said, it doesn’t mean anything goes. As we live within the structures and rules of modern society, we aim to pass on what is important to live well within it, while also remembering a fundamental truth—that we are human beings—and sharing what truly matters from that perspective.

That said, we’re adults who make plenty of mistakes too! (laugh)

In a world where it can be surprisingly difficult for people to live together in harmony, we are a family that places great importance on communication as we strive to make that possible.
WE ARE IN URGENT NEED OF WWOOFers!
We have plenty to do, such as working in the rice fields and vegetable gardens, helping with house renovations, playing with the children, and cooking meals for everyone.
Let’s work hard together surrounded by the beautiful mountain scenery with stunning rocky cliffs!
